Apr 25, 2019 · Inertia switch location. Hi all. My 2.0 petrol Mondeo will turn over but not fire up. Checked all fuses, and Checked the plugs and all look ok. I think there is a possibility the fuel cut off switch may have tripped.

If there is a short in the wiring which is connecting the fuel pump relay to the ECM, then it could draw a large current across it. This could keep on blowing the fuel pump fuse unless you fix the short in the fuel pump relay wiring.
